23rd January 2007

Well for starters its my brothers birthday tomorrow Daniel turns 17 tomorrow. Well I had a lovely meal with Lisa on Thursday at The Witch Inn, having a fine meal served by non other than the legendary Dubliner who in his heyday played for Brighton and Hove Albion and Ireland. Was a mission to get there due to the weather we got the train to H.Heath, then were going to walk to Lindfield but got a bus there and back, but then got stuck at H.Heath and Gatwick Stations for ages due to trees falling onto the tracks of the Brighton and Arun lines. But was all good. I have been nominated by Geoff for the Crawley Youth Awards. Not anything exciting to boast (or even scary LOL), but lets see if I repeat my sucess in 2005. Nice to see Brighton won on Saturday, lets hope they can keep it up and at least maintain League 1 football for another year.

I am recovering from having 2 slips in 24 hours on the paths of Ifield on the way to catching the train to college, luckily I escaped with a few minor grazes, in both. Nice to see the Seagulls of H.Heath college seem more cheerful, was nice to see a lovely girl walking round college in the Seagulls scarf. I have been enjoying the mix of old skool and new old skool music on www.backtotheoldskool.co.uk In the meantime I am pondering attending a Albion game in the next week. Plus one of my class mates may have their own monthly column in this website.

15 January 2007

A mixed weekend, my family gave me a surprise belated birthday. Making up for the quiet one I had on Jan 2nd, which was nice. Got a bit of homework out the way. Plus have arranged to have a nice meal with the fine Lisa at The Witch Inn at Lindfield on Thursday courtesy of me and The Argus with the 2 for 1 meal offer.

Brighton and Hove Albions season seems to be getting worse and worse and when I get the time will stick an article on here called What is it with Sussex Sport stressing my frustrations with the recent misfortunes in Sussex sport apart from the cricket team. Hopefully the Albion will pick up and stay up, and Falmer should be sorted but sadly getting more and more doubtful. (sob).

P.S Had some fun with a blonde wig I purchased from the web and looks to be one of the accessorys of 2007. LOL and may make an appearance at a Albion game this season, if the Albion pick up that is.

9 January 2007

Been a bit of a quiet last week, been having long lie ins before returning to college on Monday. Though was down in Horsham on Saturday, to have a drink and meet a lovely girl by the name of Lisa. We spent the afternoon having a few drinks and keeping an eye out for the score with Albions match VS West Ham, which we did lose, but at least it was not someone like Torquay that we lost too. As I type I see Albions match against Bristol is called off. So the next match will be Millwall at home on Saturday, I won't make it due to no cash. College has been OK the first two days we have been discussing about stuff ranging from a English King wanting his wife to give birth lieing down and starting the tradition of women giving birth lieing down, to men in certain African tribes that can apparently produce breast milk. Quote of the week has to go to one of my class mates the Welshman Paul on Fatboy Slim stating that he is "A talentless little twit". That put down was funny and surprised me. Although I think Mr Norman Cook is a legend. I am going to try and get back into Athletics and will be enquiring at Haywards Heath Harriers to see what the clubs like. Just hope this week passes quickly as skint until next Wednesday. Plus am to get revamping my Argus Fantasy League Squad will be taking out some lacklusture players like Anton Ferdiland and putting in more class like Pele of Southampton (a better version of that former Brazilian International).
