2nd July 2007/ Mr Ball launches save Eastbourne Tennis Campaign

After discovering in the Argus last week, that the LTA are considering moving the Eastbourne tennis tournament to London, the Save Eastbourne Tennis petition has been launched. Officaly Mr Ball and Strike Factory 100% support the petition which can be viewed via this link. It is the main tennis event in Sussex and London has too much anyway so why move it to London. It will leave Sussex and the lovely town of Eastbourne which is one of its main industrys without a major tennis event meaning we face the long trip to London. So sign this petition which will hopefully be handed to the LTA. I have gone to the event a fair few times with me experiencing some singles finals there in 2003 and 2004 and love the event and the atmoshepre and would not be the same if it was moved to London.

 anyway sign the petition here.

Meanwhile I did go to Sussex VS Slurrey on Friday in which case we did get sadly hammered. Plus have decided that I will be attending the Albion friendlys at Bognor Regis and Eastbourne Town. Plus will be watching Sussex VS Essex at the Royal Oak pub in Ifield with friends, and on Friday will be attending the Sussex VS Hampshire game at Hove, hopefully the Sharks will pull through and I will be celebrating Falmer by then.

26 June 2007

After managing to be signed by the legendary Stoolball outfit Brook Street, I am set to make my debut tonight away to Nutley. Hopefully my debut should go well. Meanwhile will be off to Wimbledon tomorrow, and attending two Twenty Cup games against Surrey and Hampshire for Sussex, the match against Essex I will be watching at the legendary Royal Oak in the Village area of Ifield, with a few neighbours hopefully. Meanwhile got my last day of college on Friday aiming to finish a wonderful Essay, which I have worked on a fair bit.

I had some fun at Ocean Rooms in Brighton on Friday, for their hard dance night and seeing the legendary MC Sharkey was class. Met a nice young lady called Anglela who was surprisingly out clubbing with her mother who looked fetching in her white dress. Though found out Anglela had a family which was a shame but was a good night. Sorry for the lack of updates on rivals in the process of getting a essay finished off. Anyway look forward to reporting on the next few days with some pictures hopefully. Meanwhile will be back at Audio soon with new neighbour Hayley hopefully as noticed the bouncers missed my custom at the legendary BN2 club. Still waiting for Falmer Stadium

16th June 2007

Huh finally got paid yesterday, though have been busy sorting out benefits due to recent work I have started. I am halfway through my essay on afro carribean post world war immigration focusing on the positives. I am sadly going to give the 5k College race a miss and attend a stoolball session at Cuckfield next week that clashs, as don't feel ready for a long distance come back will need to do more training before deciding I am in the right shape.

As for the Stoolball, I have been accepted as part of the Brook Street Stoolball mixed team, but may take a few weeks before I make my breakthrough.

Meanwhile congratulations to my old Sports Soccer boss now working at Sainsburys in Crawley the legendary Mr Andrew Stratton for his new addition to his growing young family.

Plus Happy Sussex Day to everyone you don't have to get pissed, but its cool to mark something on this fine County.
