23rd November 2013

Hey people been a long time since I last updated this baby, yes had thought leaving it to rest but for some reason feel compelled to write, for last few months have got a bit busy and been through the emotions getting switched from Income Support to (ESA) Employment Support Allowance (under working activity group), a bit like Jobseeksers Allowance (JSA) but you get more help and they are not as harsh pushing people into work as most on ESA have a disability or illness. I got refered to the Career Development Group (CDG) to me help either get back into studying and eventually into work not an easy if you consider I have mild autism and not had much luck on the work front so far.

Got a lot of praise and respect for a great friend Emma Woodward who has cerebral palsy who until recently we both helped out together at the Oxfam Crawley shop, not only did she pick up a great Young Volunteer award with British PM David Cameron watching, but has also managed to get a nice new job in the last month, and really pleased for her and wish her best of luck in the future. :)

8th April 2013

Hello people, I have still mostly been hibernating pretty much the last month, hating the cold so much. lol Not Well I attended Albions brilliant 3-0 win vs Pala*e their surge into the play offs, and been continuing to ensure Oxfam and St Catherines Hospice shops are the best charity shops in town! Plus saw the last bit of the World Marble Championships at the Greyhound, a fine Good Friday that saw some great tennis action and karaoke at the Greyhound on Good Friday (though had to return the next day to see replay of Murrays match win!).

Then there has been the complete amazement of Great Britain stunning Russia in the Davis Cup coming back from 2-0 down (something Team GB has not managed since 1930 the year before Fred Perry appeared on the tennis circuit!), thanks to victorys from underdogs James Ward and Dan Evans in the single rubbers and Fleming and Wimbledon Doubles Champion Jonny Marray in the doubles! We now go into the World Group play offs and if Andy Murray decides to play it gives Great Britain the chance for the first time since the days of Henman and Rusedski in the early 2000s of being in the World Group the Premier League of world team tennis!

Once it warms up the next week I should return to preparing for local regional walks, and maybe return to dating! Will keep you folks posted. Plus its World Autism awareness month continue to raise awareness, much like the way me and Ash Bradley tried to raise the issue at the Amex Stadium in the last week! :)

13th March 2013

Well I went for a wonderful date in Canary Wharf about 2 weeks ago with a lovely girl from the land of Genghis Khan, we ventured around a few bars, and gave me chance to explore area that my father Mr Daniel Stanley Ball helped to build! Thanks Ariuna, and hopefully arrange another date in Brighton soon, and take things nice and slow! The cold snap meanwhile has hampered my Sussex country walk plans, and returns to long distance running.

Finally talking of dating noticed an interesting facebook page Very Bad Men of Crawley naming and shaming dodgy men in the town! I wonder how long before there is a Very Bad Women Of Crawley page considering the attitude of some girls in the town (hence why I usually prefer girls outside town. lol).
