26th September 2007

In the last week, I have been settling down into college life, only annoying things are I have not got my Sussex Student Travel card sorted out, until today meaning it looks like Mr Ball have to spend the early part of the year paying for my travel expenses to Haywards Heath, plus I have found out the move to Burgess Hill may take a bit longer, due to the place still not completed its refurbishment work.

I was unsurprisingly delighted with Sussex winning the County Championship over the weekend, toasting the suscess with a fine white grape juice bottle with neighbours. Along with history and sociology, I am also attempting to retake my GCSE in maths as back in 2002 I got robbed of a C grade in my GCSE due to being given the wrong paper, in my final days as a School pupil, although to be accruate I only just missed out on a C by a few marks.

Please stick with me as things may take a bit longer with this site due to the ton of homework I am about to receive but I will document on the adventures I have away from work as soon as possible.

19 September 2007

Sorry about the lack of updates. Well in the last week I have returned to College, just a shame the timetable is still not sorted out, as missed a bloody lesson this morning. Doh. Meanwhile had plenty of fun at the Duke of Wellington on Friday, for the triple birthday celebrations, the highlight being everyone singing Bohemian Rhapsody, while it was disapointing to see the England team get destroyed by South Africa in the Rugby World Cup. Afterwards me, Jamie Van Der Westhuizen and his cousins managed to survive, at another pub until about 3am in the morning (Steve Valder, Mathew Wilkinson, and Marcos were also present but left earlier), talking about all kinds of things esp the wonderful areas of Sussex.

There will be some entrys about a day in the life of being a 'mature' student at Haywards Heath College coming very soon, along with more pictures for the website.

9th September 2007

Not too much has been going on the last week. I have had a bad cold that has included headaches that have felt like my head 'getting checked by a jumble jet'. The news about the Albion has been impressive. With no more challenges to the Falmer decision and the Albions impressive form. Only blip was due to me feeling unwell, I did not meet up with my old school mate Eddie Biddle last Saturday at Harry's Bar in Worthing, due to the cold and also the fact I had my Seagulls top on. Surprisingly it seems that Brightonians seem to think that Worthing has been a dead town since the early 1990s (when Sterns closed), well that was the view of Brett Mendoza, Andy Rumble and Jude Marley. Who when I told them I was going to a Hardcore music thing at Worthing, looked at me as if I was going to go to some fantasy fairy tea party. Hopefully I can prove them wrong when I next go to Harrys Bar.

Meanwhile I enrolled at Central Sussex Haywards Heath on Friday, and saw the nearly completed new campus, though I will be spending the whole year in the cosy old campus. Plus a few people from the previous year will be starting alongside me in Kat, Gail and Annie. Looking forward to the fine education offered by the likes of Carol Gray, and Elizabeth Brooks.
