Eastbourne Town and Three Bridges

In the last few weeks I have attended the Sussex Senior Quarter Final game between Three Bridges and Brighton and Hove Albion reserves, which saw the Albion churn out a routine 2-0 against the Sussex County League outfit. Also watching it with the legendary Ken Major, who managed to make it all the way up to grim East Crawley. One of the highlights as shown in the picture, was the wonderful tea and mugs (not the yobbos the proper cups.

Just under 2 weeks ago, I traveled to sunny Eastbourne (yes it seems sunny for even this time of year), to watch the Sussex derby between Eastbourne Town and Burgess Hill, which was a thrilling encounter with some goals that ended 2-2. The highlight however was after the match and long after the Seagulls had stupidly threw away all 3 points. I was waiting for a train outside Eastbourne Station, and after chatting to a lovely gal named Becky who was a bit short on cash, I noticed a young trio of lads wandering about the Stationhouse in white masks. They were then bizarrely led out of the station by a employee of Southern railway. So they had to wait outside with the rest of their mates.

What was the reason for this mask wearing, was it for some bizarre religion ceremony taking place near Beachy Head, or were they attending a party. Either way it was class and bet they would be able to make a career out of being a suscessful mask wielding boyband. Sorry for the poor quality of the pic, I will try and improve it when I get time.
