Charles Ball to appear on SCR

Mr Charles Ball, is set to appear on BBC Southern Counties radio during the drivetime show this afternoon or tomorrow, in connection with the facebook group and petition that I established with a few helpful hands. Hopefully giving the petition some publicity and raising the profile to save the Internatioal Tennis Championships at Eastbourne. Wish me luck.

The facebook group for the Save Eastbourne Tennis Campaign can be found at this link.

2nd July 2007/ Mr Ball launches save Eastbourne Tennis Campaign

After discovering in the Argus last week, that the LTA are considering moving the Eastbourne tennis tournament to London, the Save Eastbourne Tennis petition has been launched. Officaly Mr Ball and Strike Factory 100% support the petition which can be viewed via this link. It is the main tennis event in Sussex and London has too much anyway so why move it to London. It will leave Sussex and the lovely town of Eastbourne which is one of its main industrys without a major tennis event meaning we face the long trip to London. So sign this petition which will hopefully be handed to the LTA. I have gone to the event a fair few times with me experiencing some singles finals there in 2003 and 2004 and love the event and the atmoshepre and would not be the same if it was moved to London.

 anyway sign the petition here.

Meanwhile I did go to Sussex VS Slurrey on Friday in which case we did get sadly hammered. Plus have decided that I will be attending the Albion friendlys at Bognor Regis and Eastbourne Town. Plus will be watching Sussex VS Essex at the Royal Oak pub in Ifield with friends, and on Friday will be attending the Sussex VS Hampshire game at Hove, hopefully the Sharks will pull through and I will be celebrating Falmer by then.
